Meet Richard Brett Simpson :: Program Manager

Former Army Major Richard “Brett” Simpson was born in Heidelberg, Germany and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. After spending one year at Valley Forge Military College in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Brett attended and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering.

On 27 May 2000, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Signal Corps. Brett’s first assignment was a temporary one at Fort Gordon, Georgia where he successfully completed the Signal Officers’ Basic Course.

Upon completion of the Basic Course, he was assigned to the 596th Separate Signal Company, 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division at Fort Riley …
